Tips on how to pray for your husband
• Consider having a physical reminder of your husband with you or around the house. This will remind you to pray for him. For example, you could carry a small photo of him on your key ring, or a photo of him on your mobile's home page screen.
• What are the things that your husband is good at doing? Pray for him in the areas where he is strong, that God would use him mightily and create new opportunities for him. That he would walk into his dreams and fulfil his destiny in God.
• What are the areas of your husband life where he is weak? Pray that he would know the forgiveness and grace of God in his life. Pray that he would be able to find God's strength to overcome them, and in God's time.
• Encourage your husband to foster close relationships with one or two other Christian men. Pray that this will be a place of openness and vulnerability for him, where he can share his dreams and his struggles, and find prayer and support.
• Pray for patience. Pray that God will give him great forbearance, that with his family he would be slow to anger and quick to listen (James 1:19).
• Pray for peace of mind. Most men consider that they are failing in their relationship if they fail to provide (financially) for their family.
